This is a really funny book about prairie dogs when they fight over the tennis ball's fuzz. When the prairie dogs fell asleep all there fuzz was taken away. The part that I really liked was when they dressed up themselves in all different ways with the fuzz. I liked the illustrations because the tennis ball fuzz looked real.

I liked the Subway Mouse because it is easy to read and it has mice trying to escape the darkness of the subway tunnels end which is wth world where you can find the tastiest foods and make the softest nests. On the way the mouse finds another mouse and they escape despite being hungry and tired. The subway mouse has drawings made of plastercine. My favourite part is when the main mouse puts together the stuff he finds in the subway and makes a fort. I think this book would make a good story time book. I recommend it for everyone, all ages.

We liked the part when Nib's cousin eats the pizza because their mouths get messy. We also liked the part when they steal the jellybean because they wanted food to eat. We liked the part when Nib builds his fort because it is creative.

I think Nib is an adventures mouse because he almost always go out. I say it was very rude when Nib's cousins trashed his nest. My favourite part is when Nib & Lola steal a jellybean because they ran right past a fat guard mouse & pretty much ran from the cops.

This book is really good because the pictures looked real. I liked the part how he made the garbage useful. The part I liked the least was when he got chased by those big mice. The other part I liked was when he reached the end of the subway.

I liked this book because it had really nice pictures. I liked the part where the mouse found two girls and their names were Lola and Sugardrop. I liked the part where the mouse found all the trash. Then there were three mice that ate pizza. I liked the other part where the two mice fight for the feather.

The best part about this book was when Nib and Lola had babies. They went all the way through the subway. Nib collected things from his dad’s stories. Nib and Lola had 15 babies.

I loved this book because they ate people food that had a tiny bit of crumbs in the wrapper from the garbage cans outside of people’s houses and in the beginning of the story they lived by the subway train and they found garbage on the floor like a piece of string and put on shiny beads and wrapper with a hole in it and tied it onto the string. This book has funny pictures in it the pictures are painted onto the pages. I liked when the children’s mom left in the Subway train and left her children at their house beside the Subway train and when she came back to their house they made her a garbage necklace and their mother gave her children a great big hug and they said if their mother ever left she would take her children with her.

When my teacher first assigned this book to us as a novel study, I thought it would be one of those boring and hard to get into books, but even so I told myself I need to read this so I can do well on the quizzes. After reading about 3 pages in, I realize I wouldn't be able to put this book down. And guess what, I didnt'. I managed to finish the whole entire thing last night. When I gott back to class the next day, I wasn't the only person. This book is simply put, AMAZING! I love how he grows and becomes more mature as does his friend, and then both learn how hard it is to live while the Taliban is ruling.

This book was a surprisingly good book! Normally I don't read realistic fiction, but after the first few pages, I was hooked. Because of Winn-Dixie is a story about a girl and her dog. It starts off in the Winn Dixie General Store where India Opal (the main character) finds a dog making a mess. India helps the hungry stray by saying he is her own dog. India names him Winn-Dixie after the store where she found him and takes him home where their friendship grows. I give Because of Winn-Dixie five out of five and could read it again. I recommend Because of Winn-Dixie to anyone from about ages 10 to 16

This is a story about three children who are in for a never ending life of misery (well at least in the series). From lossing their parents in a mysterious fire, to living in a dingy mansion with the evil Count Olof is just a small taste of things to come. If you think your life was not worth living, then you have obviously not read the series of unfortunate events. If you read these books, you may have nightmares and fears as long as you live, however, reading these books will indeed change your life in one way or another.

Warriors is a great book for cat lovers. It is about four main clans that go to battle with each other. Sometimes there are more then four clans lik on the last book of the first series. It has a new clan called Bloodclan but usually if there are more than four clans they get defeated at the end.

I think Erin Hunter is a great author and I lover her books (warriors) and the new prophecy is good but I don't like how they skipped so much from book six to book one in the new prophecy. And Willowpelt died!! I loved her! And so much stuff happened that we missed and the new point of view is from Brambleclaw! He's not my favourite character, actually, I don't like him at all! And why can't a female cat be the point of view for once??? But its' a very good read and everytime I start reading it I can't stop!!

The cats of Erin Hunter's 'Warriors: Into the Wild' captured my heart at once for their wit, sense of humor, and personalities and behaviour that are cat-like yet so much like a human's at the same time. The scenery was lush and when I close my eyes I can clearly imagine the different territories of the four clans of wild cats (ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and the sinister ShadowClan) my friends and I even make up our own characters and warrior names for ourselves (I am Jewelstar, or more commonly Jeweltail) with different backgrounds for story-telling. This is a book that can be reread over and over again.

I really enjoyed Wolf Brother because it was filled with mystery and suspense, and it gave me an insight into what life might have been like as a Cro-Magnon. I got hooked into the book at teh part when Torak's father gives him the knife, then I couldn't stop reading. I got in trouble for staying up too late. I loved the whole book, and I tried to figure out the riddles, but they didn't make sense until I got to the end. It was a bittersweet moment for me when the Wolf's guide duties were over and he left to join a pack. I think that overall it was a very enchanting book, and I am looking forward to reading Spirit Walker!

Dear Gail Carson Levine, We like Betsy who cried wolf because she saw a wolf nd cried wolf and the farmers came running and the wolf ran away. So they thought she didn't tell the truth. It happened two times and she had to go back to shepherd school. The illustrations were hilariously goofy - especially the way the sheep stood on two legs and how they talked. We thought it was crazy, but really good. Every school should have your book.

We think that this book was funny and very happy. We liked the part when the wolf helped Betsy because wolves don't normally help people. When I was reading this book I learned a lot. I'm sure if you read this book to you would learn a lot. I think this book is good for kids who are learning about the past and the present of Alberta. My favourite letter in this book is U for the Bar U ranch. I also liked the letter Z for zebras in the zoo of course. Anyways I hope you get to read this book because it has a lot of information about the past and the present of Alberta. Well good by for now!

I like this book a lot because the illustrations are amazing. I learned a lot from this book like that big horned sheep have two layers of bones for their skull. I also learned that five women named Emily Murphy, Louise Mckinney, Nellie McLung, Henrietta Muir Edwards and Irene Parlby made it so women had rights. We now call this group the Famous Five.

Charlotte's Web is a wonderful book, it is interesting and funny all put together. What is also interesting is that it isn't only for one age group - it is for all ages. I love how the author writes her story, she is great! She puts a lot of detail into Charlotte's Web.

I thought that this book was very good. It had lots of detail and good words. I also thought that all the little problems led to the big problem and not all of them got solved. I loved this book!

I liked this book because it was sad at first and then it became happy. Cheese Louise was having a hard time with Carrot and Corn because they kept on teasing her. They kept on saying you will never get picked. What they meant by that was that Cheese never gets picked. But that wasn’t true said a little friendly piece of popcorn. They always tease me by saying you’re too small and fat. Oh what ever said Carrot and Corn? But when a girl came to open the fridge she picked a piece of bread, lettuce and cheese. That means she picked Cheese Louise. Everyone, even the ones that were rude to her cheered.

My favourite part of the book was when the parents had a pie eating contest and the babies saw butterflies and crawled away. Then the boy goes saves the babies and for saving the babies he gets a piece of pie. I liked this book, it wasn't bad. I'd give this book a 3/5.

I think this book is funny because of in the middle the brother says to the other worm, my older sister thinks she's so pretty. I told her no matter how much time she spends looking in the mirror; her face will always look just like her rear end.
